recovery day 7

Day 7… I skipped updating yesterday, in which I went to lunch and saw cool whip on top of my capuccino. It overflowed the drink, and I had to avoid the temptation to play while spooning it off. Then there was the ice in my water glass… Oh, the things that amuse me are so silly! Of course, today was a down day. I am developing a rhythm here. Tomorrow I will go out to choir–I haven’t decided about dinner at church beforehand. They are having hot browns–you’ll either know what that is or not.

My pain level is going slowly but steadily down. I feel now like I either have a very bad itch or a rather significant bruise. I’m out of the sleep-all-day stage, and I have been keeping the eye open most of the day for the past couple of days. I think it will still be a while before I am doing that with the windows open and lights on, but at least this is progress.
